COVID-19: We maintain some of our operations
Dear customers, partners and suppliers,
In this time of crisis, we wanted to bring you up to date on the continuation of some of our operations. Since the Quebec government’s announcement ordering the closure of any business that does not provide essential services, we have had to make some changes to the way we do things. The government has included the marine sector on the list of sectors and services judged essential as the transportation of goods ensures the provisioning of medicine, medical equipment, food and other goods.
OCEAN is an important link in this supply chain. To ensure the continuity of marine operations, port towing services, pilot transshipment, repair of certain ships and emergency dredging remain in operation. Our role, as a responsible organization, is to manage the risk for our employees, customers, partners and suppliers while continuing our activities. That is why we have put in place certain sanitary measures.
The effectiveness of these measures is possible through the collaboration of all our employees, customers, partners and suppliers who comply with the sanitary measures recommended by our governments. These special measures have been put in place to provide a safe work environment and to minimize health risks for all.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust and cooperation. Rest assured that OCEAN is committed to maintaining the high-quality standards to which you have become accustomed before this crisis. From all of us to all of you, be careful and take good care of yourselves.
