The finance team plays a key role in Ocean Group’s success, ensuring its long-term development. It is responsible for providing accurate and strategic financial information, optimizing financial strategies, managing risks and collaborating with business units and other departments to support informed decision-making.
We are actively seeking a FP&A Director, who will report to and work closely with the Executive Vice President (EVP) – Finance, as well as the Director – Finance & Accounting and other company leaders, to actively contribute to organization’s success.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:
Financial Planning and Budgeting :
- Lead the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts efficiently.
- Monitor and analyze actual financial performance versus budget, identifying variances and proposing appropriate corrective measures.
Management Reporting and Analysis :
- Prepare and present financial reports by business unit and on a consolidated basis for the Board of Directors and management.
- Provide detailed analyses of financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends.
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
Financial Forecasting and Modeling :
- Design and maintain efficient financial models to support decision-making.
- Provide accurate and relevant financial forecasts to guide management’s strategic decisions.
- Identify trends, opportunities and risks through financial data analysis.
Partnership with Business Units :
- Collaborate with operational teams to align financial objectives with strategic priorities.
- Provide reporting, performance monitoring, analysis and business cases to support decision-making of operational teams (including support for major bids and capital investments).
- Assist business units in the developing and implementing continuous performance improvement initiatives.
Management Team support :
- Support the EVP Finance and senior management in acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.
- Assist the EVP Finance in preparing presentations for the Board of Directors, executive management, financial partners and other stakeholders.
Talent and Performance Management :
- Mentor and develop a team of high-performing analysts, enhancing their analytical and strategic skills.
- Implement robust and efficient tools and processes.
- Foster a culture of performance through collaboration, analytical rigor and strategic data utilization to support rapid and effective decision-making.
OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:
Technical skills :
- Strong experience in budget cycle management and financial forecasting
- Ability to develop and maintain effective financial models for analysis and decision-making
- Skills to identify variances between actual performance and budget, analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Expertise in key performance indicators (KPIs) and creating dashboards for monitoring results
- Ability to interpret financial trends and anticipate risks and opportunities
- Skills to transform complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively
- In-depth knowledge of SAP (asset), BI tools and advanced Excel
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and reporting automation
Requirements :
- Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years’ relevant experience, including budget planning, financial analysis and reporting in a structured environment
- Experience in a large private-sector company
- CPA or CFA designation
- Languages: advanced level in French and English, spoken and written

- Ability to align financial analysis with business decisions
- Strong analytical skills to interpret to analyze complex data, identify trends and provide relevant recommendations
