We are actively seeking a Senior Director – Projects and Development to join our Marine Works and Dredging team. He will be responsible for the management of the project, estimating and engineering departments, as well as business development and client relationships.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

  • Be the first point of contact for all project management, estimating, engineering, and business development questions.
  • Take an active role in the management and growth of the company.
  • Establish and maintain harmonious relationships and effective communication with internal and external partners.
  • Lead and supervise engineering, estimating, and project teams to achieve their goals and complete their assignments.
  • Ensure project efficiency and optimal profitability by implementing best-practice tools and processes that meet the highest Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality standards.
  • Be an active leader in the evaluation and adoption of advanced technology solutions for performance optimization, such as automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Develop and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for all aspects of projects, estimating, and engineering.
  • Manage and plan assets within a global and synergistic vision of current and future projects.
  • Identify and understand the needs of current and future clients, and seize business development opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with current and prospective clients and provide strategic market intelligence.
  • Establish HSE priorities in conjunction with HSE management to ensure compliance in the planning and execution of various projects.
  • Participate and support the activities of the HSE Management System.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:

  • University degree in administration, civil engineering, construction engineering, engineering, or any other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of a ten-year experience in team management, project management and business development
  • Leadership and proven ability to manage large, multi-site projects and develop business
  • Capacity to positively impact an organization’s management strength, operational efficiency, client relationships and development opportunities
  • Strong values in HSE and quality management
  • Ability to manage change to create value in a context of growth
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Maritime experience (asset)
  • Languages: advanced level in French and English, spoken ans written
