THE FÉLIX-ANTOINE-SAVARD IN DRY DOCK
Ocean Group’s efficiency allows it to push its limits.
Isle-aux-Coudres, since 2009 – The Félix-Antoine-Savard ferry has ascended the hauling slip at Ocean Industries’ shipyard several times for its mandatory four-year dry docks.
Measuring 83 m long, 21.5 m wide and with a gross tonnage of 2,489, this is the largest vessel ever to have ascended the slip. The work is made possible by the improvements made to the 5,000-ton hauling slip. Since then, all its dry docks, whether urgent or required by regulations, are being performed at the Charlevoix shipyard.
